Egyptian Cotton
Washing Egyptian Cotton helps to soften the extra-long fibres. Over time, your sheets will feel even smoother and more comfortable against the skin. Think of it as a fabric that improves with age, much like a fine wine.
Always wash separately to avoid damage from zips, hooks, or buttons. Egyptian Cotton is highly absorbent, which means it can also pick up unwanted dyes from darker fabrics if washed together.
A gentle wash cycle at 30°C is ideal to prevent shrinking. Use a small amount of mild, pH-neutral detergent, and avoid bleach or fabric softeners. Spot clean any visible stains before washing, and consider an extra rinse cycle to remove detergent fully.
Air drying is best, as it helps reduce creasing and preserves the cotton’s natural scent. If you use a dryer, keep the heat low and remove the sheets while still slightly damp. Fold or hang straight away to prevent stubborn creases. Iron on low while damp for the best finish.
Egyptian Cotton bedding is a luxury product designed to last. With the right care, it will remain soft and beautiful for many years.
Silk
Silk is a delicate natural fibre that feels smooth and cool against the skin. It requires gentle care to maintain its sheen and softness.
Wash by hand or use a delicate machine cycle at 30°C or below. Always wash silk separately, and if using a machine, place it in a mesh bag to prevent snagging. Use a detergent formulated for silk or other delicate fabrics, and never use bleach or fabric softeners.
Air drying is best. Lay flat or hang in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight, which can fade the fibres. If using a dryer, select a no-heat or low-heat setting and remove the fabric promptly to finish air drying.
Iron silk on the lowest heat setting, ideally while still slightly damp. Place a cloth between the iron and the fabric to protect the fibres, or use a garment steamer for best results.
Treated with care, silk bedding keeps its luxurious shine and elegance for years to come.
Linen
Linen is strong and breathable, known for its natural texture and relaxed look. With washing, it becomes softer and more comfortable, while retaining its durability.
Wash linen at 30–40°C on a gentle cycle. Use a mild liquid detergent and avoid bleach, softeners, or products with optical brighteners. Do not overload the drum—linen benefits from space to move during the wash.
Air drying is recommended to preserve the fabric’s strength and reduce wear. If using a dryer, choose a low-heat setting and remove the bedding while still damp to avoid stiffness. Prolonged exposure to strong sunlight may weaken the fibres, so dry in the shade if possible.
Linen naturally creases, which adds to its relaxed appeal. If you prefer a neater look, iron on a warm setting while the fabric is still damp, or use a steamer.
Linen bedding grows softer with every wash, developing a unique character that makes it a timeless addition to your home.
Lyocell / TENCEL™
Lyocell is a plant-based fabric known for its smooth texture, breathability and moisture-wicking properties. It feels cool against the skin and is perfect for year-round comfort.
Wash at 30–40°C on a delicate or gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach, fabric softeners or harsh chemicals. Wash Lyocell separately to protect its fibres and finish.
Air-dry whenever possible. If you use a tumble dryer, choose a low-heat setting and remove while still slightly damp to reduce wrinkles. Avoid drying in direct sunlight.
Iron on a low-heat setting if needed. Turn items inside-out and use a cloth barrier between the iron and the fabric for extra protection.
With proper care, Lyocell bedding will remain soft, smooth and durable, keeping its natural drape and comfort for years.
